[edit] First Spanish album in 1994

I previously edited this article because I noticed that Laura's first Spanish album was published in 1994, instead of 1995 as the article said. It says so in my original copy of the album and it also says so at Laura's official website. However, someone changed it back to 1995 providing no reason and apparently without checking official sources. I'm changing it back to 1994, since as I've argued that's definitely the right date. Please do check the album and the official website if you think it was 1995.--Pecholobo 22:55, 7 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] First Spanish Album - 1994

I'm sorry. I have 3 editions of the album. The vinyl from España and the Italian and Brazilian Cd's. The vinyl and the Italian cd I don't use. So I checked only in the Brazilian Cd (1995). The vinyl says 1994. So it is 1994.

You don't need to be rude. :)

Somebody erased the information about "I Sogni..." another day. Was you?

Bye...

--Grimaldi 12:28, 9 October 2005 (UTC)

Sorry if I sounded rude. I tried my best not to sound like it. I guess I was a little upset and I couldn't hide it. Sorry again.
I didn't erase anything related to "I Sogni..." - I didn't even know about it, what is it? You can check the article's history to see who did it.
Going back the Laura's first album in Spanish, I think the correct date is 1994, not 1994/95. The album is from 1994, even if some editions weren't released until 1995. I guess it's not really that important though.--Pecholobo 22:38, 9 October 2005 (UTC)

Alex, who do u think u are to errase the links about Laura? We are fan of Laura like u, so let our links there and stop this stupid discusion!!!!

[edit] Site promoting download of copyrighted material

The site titled "Laura Pausini File Network" http://www.laura4u.com.br is a web promoting the download of copyrighted material in MP3 and various video formats.

Their most recent addition to the database is the Laura Pausini's DVD titled "Live in Paris 05" (released December 2005). They offer the complete concert in AVI format promoting piracy and illegal downloading among other copyrighted MP3s and videos. This is the reason why I deleted the link to that site.

AlexCovarrubias 19:26, 30 January 2006 (UTC)

Another minor but interesting fact is the use of the URL www.laura4u.com.br because the official fanclub URL is www.laura4u.com aswell as the use of official logos and the official-like look that may misslead users to believe is OK to download files from the site.

AlexCovarrubias 19:30, 30 January 2006 (UTC)

I found the official rule (thanks to my friend R.w) that forbids linking to sites that violates someone else's copyright. It says the following:

LINKING TO COPYRIGHTED WORKS
Linking to copyrighted works is usually not a problem, as long as you have made a reasonable effort to determine that the page in question is not violating someone else's copyright. If it is, please do not link to the page. Whether such a link is contributory infringement is currently being debated in the courts, but in any case, linking to a site that illegally distributes someone else's work sheds a bad light on us. Wikipedia:Copyrights#Linking_to_copyrighted_works

So following this rule the sites "Laura Pausini World File Network" in the URL www.laura4u.com.br and "Universo Pausini" in the URL www.universopausini.com will not be listed in the article. Also is remarkable the fact that the webmaster of the first site admitted violation of copyright (Yes, my site promote the download of a lot of copyrighted material. (Audio, videos and pictures)) -See below for better reference.'

Hi Alex
Ok, let's talk.

The first thing is that the name of my site is not "Laura Pausini File Network". Is "Laura Pausini - World File Network".
The pioneer in Laura's file sharing in the World, with proud.

Yes, my site promote the download of a lot of copyrighted material. (Audio, videos and pictures)
In one thing you are wrong: I don't have only the "Live in Paris 05" in my giant database.
I have the "Live 2001 2002 World Tour" too and a lot of highly copyrighted material about Laura. :)

Am I wrong? For you and for a lot of people, yes. But for more people and for Wikipedia, no.

Take a look at these articles in Wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emule
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kazaa
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shareaza
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BitTorrent
Among many others...

All ilegal? Not for Wikipedia.

So my little link must stay. (It's not even an article like these!)

If you don't agree with this, I'm sorry. But here, I'm free to promote my site.
The only thing that you can do is search for lawyers in real life to sue me. Lol.

And you must have a lot of cynicism to go against a thing that you probably use at your own house or work. (I'm including my site. :))
I have im my site, per day, more visits from Mexico than from Italy!
So your people is all wrong. Go against then too!

And all this started with a small link. :(
Me and the people from UniversoPausini.com are the biggest contributors of Laura's articles.
We arrived here first, and it's not right that you put your link on the top of the list like if you are the beginner here.
I'm sorry, but is the logic.
The only thing that I can ask for you is this: Let's stop with this little "fight", Ok? :)

Just one more little thing.
About the fact that the domain, the url of my site looks like the url of the Official Fanclub...
Yes, is for that reason that I registered the domain.
To promote my site.
Is for this reason that my site gets every day more than 200 unique users.
But to think that my site is official...
This only happens with dumb users.
You thought this too?
I'm sure not. ;)

Just for you know, I'm the owner of these domains too:
http://www.laura4u.net
http://www.laura4u.org
http://www.laura4u.tk
http://www.laura4you.tk
http://www.laura4us.com
http://www.laura4us.tk
http://www.laura-pausini.org
http://www.pausini.tk

Well that's it, and let's stop this "fight", ok? :)

Bye...

Even if you don't care about copyright I'm sorry to inform you that Wikipedia does. Everytime you edit there is one clear sentence about copyright. You should take a look at it, in case you haven't before.
Content must not violate any copyright and must be verifiable. You agree to license your contributions under the GFDL.
Your personal "insults" and "national" provoking that any smart people can notice in your last message means nothing to me. I really don't care if some mexicans, brazilians or whatever country people come from are willing to violate copyright laws; I am not and you also shouldn't. Meanwhile your site violates this laws and will stay erased.

AlexCovarrubias 13:53, 31 January 2006 (UTC)

Website "Universo Pausini" is also offering the download of copyrighted material, including Laura Pausini's most recently released DVD. The link to this site has been erased.

AlexCovarrubias 14:31, 31 January 2006 (UTC)

Alex, who do u think u are to errase the links about Laura? We are fan of Laura like u, so let our links there and stop this stupid discusion!!!!

Links to websites promoting the illegal download of copyrighted material are not allowed. There is no more to it. -- Rune Welsh | ταλκ 00:39, 28 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Alex, or who aswer for him

In Universo Pausini we don't have medias that are not alowed. We have what every web site has. And you are not from Laura Pausini's Staff, so stop to say what is alowed, and what is not alowed. Stay in your place!

Universo Pausini has been reported as violating Pausini's copyright. I don't need to be part of her staff to point you to the Copyright policy of Wikipedia where you can right that linking to websites that violate somebody else's copyright is not allowed. Now please stay civil. -- Rune Welsh | ταλκ 18:05, 28 February 2006 (UTC)

Then show me where we violate the Copyright.

Universo Pausini is a site that in the media or download section has a link to the website called "Laura Pausini World File Network" that encourages the downloading of copyrighted material such as the recently released DVD "Live in Paris 05" by Laura Pausini. They also has some other copyrighted material ready for download. That is why I reported and deleted your site from the other links section. AlexCovarrubias 15:11, 3 March 2006 (UTC)

Show me, go there and show me the link? Are u stupid? We DON'T have a link!!!

[edit] 160 platinum albums?

This can't be true. Can someone find out the real number? Vansice 21:56, 19 May 2006 (UTC)

Does anyone know if Laura is a mezzo or a soprano?
