Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

Donna gives Eric a hickey, and at breakfast Laurie takes another stab at him. Eric & Hyde decide to not sleep in the same room, so Hyde looks for somewhere else to sleep. He ends up in the storage room in the back of the basement.

Donna’s parents fight over her. First, Midge takes her to buy her clogs and tells her how much she hates Bob. When they come home, Bob sees that Donna likes the clogs. He tells her that he is going to take her to buy something. Bob asks her if she likes the shirt he bought her, and says she did, but Bob is not convinced. He suggests that she must like her mother’s gift more because she didn’t try his gift on. When she arrives home, Midge tells Donna that the shirt makes her look fat, Bob tells her the clogs make her look like a duck. Donna tells them to stop fighting through her because she’s had it.

Meanwhile Laurie’s Psychology professor, Stark, shows up at the Forman house. He tells the family that he wants Laurie to go back to the University of Wisconsin. The whole family is excited to hear the news. Kitty sends Eric out that night for ground beef for dinner. As he's leaving, he sees Laurie and the professor making-out. Eric is excited because finally he has something to get back at Laurie. At dinner Eric tries to reveal the news. Instead, the professor reveals that he loves Laurie. Red chases him out of the room and out the door. Red asks Laurie about it. She tells him she was taken advantage of, and turns it back on Eric by saying that he saw the whole thing. Red takes her into the kitchen. Kitty tells Eric that, even though she loves Laurie, he really needs to get her the next time.
