Lauren London is a biracial actress of African and European descent from Los Angeles, California. She started her career in 2003, appearing in music videos by artists such as Pharrell Williams, Snoop Dogg, Young Gunz and T.I.. A native of Los Angeles, London attended Castle Heights Elementary School, where her drama teacher gave her the role of a lion who didn’t speak English. Having to improvise words that she didn’t understand peaked her curiosity and sparked her enthusiasm for acting. After a stint at Palisades High School, London was homeschooled, affording her time to audition for films, music videos, and commercials.
In 2005 she landed her first movie role in ATL as "New New," starring alongside T.I. who played her love interest. The movie was released in March 2006. She also played Monay on the UPN TV show Everybody Hates Chris. She recently appeared on the HBO comedy Entourage and is filming a new movie "This Christmas" due out November 2007.
