Laura Wright

Laura Wright (born Laura Sisk on September 11, 1970 in Clinton, Maryland) is an American soap opera actress. She married architect John Wright in October 1995. They have 2 kids.
Her first soap gig was the role of younger Rescott sister Allison "Ally" Rescott Alden Bowman on Loving (1991-1995). When that show ended, she reprised her role on spinoff soap The City (1995-1997). After that show was also canceled, she was offered the contract role of Reva's half-sister Cassie Layne Winslow on Guiding Light, which she remained until November 2005. After Wright left the soap, the role of Cassie was recast with daytime newcomer, Nicole Forester.
Since November 2005, Wright joined the cast of General Hospital as Carly Benson Corinthos, taking over from Jennifer Bransford.
