The Latvian Airplay Charts first began in April 1994. The Official Latvian Singles Chart did not start until March 1996.

  • Latvian voting chart is used in MTV Baltic Top 20
  • If latest chart isn't released or isn't available for compiler of Latvian Airplay/Music chart, previous (last week's only) chart is used with rate 20% lower. Older charts are not used.
  • If some radiostation have both Latvian and foreign charts, real rates used in Latvian Airplay chart are lower than one in this page and are dependent on popularity of both of charts and percentage of playing Latvian music in this radiostation
  • If some radiostation have both Latvian and total (Latvian+foreign) charts, only foreign chart is used in Latvian Airplay chart, and both of charts (with lower rate for total chart or for both of charts) are used in Latvian Music chart
