[edit] De Lacys and the Barons of Halton
I have written a new page on the Barons of Halton and as a number of de Lacys were also Barons of Halton I have added to the text and also added an internal link. I have corrected the internal link to Stanlow Abbey and added some books for 'Further reading'. My main source has been the book by Starkey, an eminent and reliable local historian, and he has some discrepancies in dates of death. He gives for Roger 1211 rather than 1212 and for Henry 1310 rather than 1311 but I haven't changed these - your sources may be more reliable.
Best wishes, Peter I. Vardy 17:22, 23 November 2006 (UTC)
