Last Resort

The term Last Resort usually refers to an action that is used only when no other option remains.
An action of last resort can be:
- Using weapons of mass destruction.
- A collision course.
- Initiating self-destruct.
- Scuttling a ship.
- Final surrender or, conversely, launching a suicide attack.
- Going to war and, at the farthest extreme, initiating nuclear war (because it is internecine).
