[edit] History

Last Caress started out in '95 as a trio. The band was orininally formed by Staffas, Micke and Murmester. After a short while Mike and Reinius joined the band. In '96 both Murmester and Reinius had dropped out and left the band for other projects. The first EP "Happy Friday" was recorded in '96 and was well received by fans and media, however no record company seemed interested at that time. In '98 the second EP "See the world" was released. Also this release was highly appreciated by fans and media. But it took until 2001 for the band to get signed by a small indie label, Mecapo. Their first full length album "Nothing left but me" was released in 2002.

In 2003 Staffas took a break and was replaced by Gutta. Last Caress also found a new rythm guitarist in Erik (the lead singer of 21 Lucifers by the way). In 2004 the whole band took a break. In late 2005 the original trio started getting together again to relive old memories.
