Lasse Gjertsen

Lasse Gjertsen (born July 19th, 1984) is a Norwegian animator, musician, and videographer known on YouTube as lassegg[1]. Best known for his short pieces "Hyperactive"[2] and "Amateur"[3], which string together short clips of video to create a unique form of video akin to stop-motion animation. His "Hyperactive" video has over 10 million downloads.[4] [5] The 22 year old have an education from a animation education in Volda, Norway and the animation education at Kent Institute of Art & Design in England.[4]
The YouTube success has resulted in many offer from international companies like Chevron and MTV.[6]
Lasse Gjertsen's video Hyperactive was nominated in the category Most Creative video in YouTube's 2006 Video Awards.[7] The video achieved a third place.[8]
