Lashings World XI

Owner David Folb of The Lashings World XI is a famous cricket team. It was originally formed in 1984 as a scratch team, and grew from an unremarkable English local club cricket team into, as it bills itself, the "World’s greatest cricket club".

Based in Maidstone, Kent, the team has attracted a string of famous international cricketers to its ranks, starting with Richie Richardson, and including Muttiah Muralitharan, Aravinda De Silva, Tatenda Taibu, Chris Cairns, Gordon Greenidge, Jimmy Adams, Henry Olonga and Courtney Walsh. Its most unusual "capture" was former English women's cricket team captain, Clare Connor. Sachin Tendulkar and Ajit Agarkar
