A Neutrino 2000 is a fictitious weapon from the Artemis Fowl book series by Eoin Colfer. It is owned by various LEP officers, including Captain Holly Short and Commander Julius Root. In the fourth book, Artemis Fowl: The Opal Deception, it is upgraded to a Neutrino 3000.

The Neutrino 3000 is a upgraded version of the 2000 series, it is lighter, contains no metal parts, translucent and powered by stored kinetic energy (with a backup mini-nuclear battery). The Neutrino 3000 also registers the time and direction fired and will only fire for the fairy with whom it is registered.

The Neutrino is a class of burst firearms invented by Foaly. The Neutrino 2000 is the weapon used by most LEPrecon fairies. However, Opal Koboi of Koboi Labs secretly set each weapon with a bead of solder, that when activated with a precise signal, would deactivate the weapons. It allowed the B'wa Kell goblin rebellion in Artemis Fowl: The Artic Incident, to continue their rampage with weapons that worked.
The Neutrino 3000 is only owned by Foaly, Captain Holly Short and Commander Julius Root, although Root died before he got to use it.
The Neutrino 2000 and 3000 both create a self contained energy stream that dissipates after a set time (revealed in the Artemis Fowl: The Lost Colony). The Neutrino has 3 power levels, is capable of rapid fire and is powered by a nuclear battery. In The Lost Colony it is shown that the Neutrino can awaken as well as knock out brain functions (to which Foaly notes "Interesting, a happy gun"). The Neutrino 2000 also has a piton dart attachment that is spring powered.

The Bouncer is a wide bore, low frequency blaster, that was originally intended for tunnel skirmishes. Greedy weapons dealers quickly adapted it for the use of anyone that wanted it outside of the tunnels. The Bouncer is first mentioned in Artemis Fowl and the Arctic Incident.
[edit] Softnose Lasers
The "old Softnose lasers", were an old laser, that should have been melted down, by Foaly and his team of techies, though some were smuggled out of the recycling plant, with the help of one Briar Cudgeon. They were slower moving lasers that didn't stun the opponent, but actually penetrated them. They were used in the B'wa Kell Rebellion. Briar Cudgeon has a specially made, custom Softnose Blaster, aptly titled the Softnose Redboy blaster, which he uses most in the underground facility that was originally created so that the B'wa Kell would have a place to practice, Lt.Briar Cudgeon logged the most hours in it though.
