Lawrence Grant Twitchell (February 18, 1864 - August 23, 1930) was a Major League baseball outfielder. Twitchell was born in Cleveland, OH.
On August 15, 1889, he hit for the cycle, getting 6 hits in 6 at bats to lead the Cleveland Spiders over the Boston Beaneaters.[1] Twitchell occasionally pitched throughout his career, compiling a 17-11 win-loss record.
Twitchell died in Cleveland, OH in 1930. He was laid to rest in Lakewood Park Cemetery in Rocky River, OH. [2]
