[edit] Career

While living in India, Sweeney used to practice Hatha Yoga and amateur wrestling at the Shri Satpal Pehelwan Akhara in New Delhi. Back in USA, Sweeney decided to get into professional wrestling and trained at the Chikara Wrestle Factory in Allentown, Pennsylvania, in September 2003, under head trainer Mike Quackenbush and co-instructors Chris Hero and Skayde. Sweeney also received training from Buddy Rose and Colonel DeBeers in Portland, Oregon before debuting on May 1, 2004. Since then, Sweeney has worked for many promotions on the American independent circuit, including IWA-MS, CZW, UWA Hardcore, World-1, PWG, NEW, and IWC. Formerly partners and good friends, Sweeney has been enthralled in an ongoing feud in various promotions across North America with Eddie Kingston, most vehemently in CHIKARA, where he ran over Kingston with a vehicle following an ICW/ICWA Tex-Arkana TV Championship match. In the Summer of 2006, Sweeney made an appearance on WWE Raw where he pretended to be Nick Hogan in a segment titled "Orton Knows Best." On December 22, 2006, Sweeney made his debut in Ring of Honor, interfering on behalf of the Kings of Wrestling in their win against Jay and Mark Briscoe. Since his debut in ROH, Larry has become a "Super Agent" for Chris Hero. Larry has appeared on the last two shows (December 2006 and February 2007) of the NWA Upstate promotion which is based out of Rochester, New York, and is scheduled to be in a War Games style cage match at NWA Upstate's anniversary show in April 2007.
