Larry Smith (basketball)

Larry "Mr. Mean" Smith (born January 18, 1958 in Rolling Fork, Mississippi) is a former professional basketball player. A 6'8" forward/center from Alcorn State University, Smith spent 13 seasons (19801993) in the NBA, playing for the Golden State Warriors, Houston Rockets, and San Antonio Spurs. Smith received NBA All-Rookie Team Honors in 1981, and he would become one of the best rebounders of the 1980s. He is currently the head coach of the Anaheim Arsenal. He has an average of 9.2 rebounds in 25.9 mins per game.
