Larry Rothschild

Lawrence Lee Rothschild (born March 12, 1954 in Chicago, Illinois) is the pitching coach of the Chicago Cubs. He was previously the first-ever manager of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, from 1998 to the start of 2001, compiling a record of 205-294. Before that, he worked as a coach with the Cincinnati Reds from 1986 to 1993, and the Florida Marlins from 1995-1997. Larry is a wonderful father to 3 beautiful children, Charlotte, claire, and Scott.
As a player, Rotschild spent 7 years in the Detroit Tigers organization as a relief pitcher in 1981 and 1982.
Rothschild has been widely acclaimed as a pitching coach and results with the Cubs have made this clear. Rothchild attented Homewood-Flossmoor High School
