Largo High School (Maryland)

Largo High School is a high school located near Upper Marlboro in Prince George's County, Maryland. It is operated by the Prince George's County Public Schools.

The school's athletic teams are known as the Lions. As of August, 2006, the acting principal is James Wheeler. The school serves more than 1,800 students in grades 9 through 12.

Largo High School is a high school located near Upper Marlboro in Prince George's County, Maryland. It is operated by the Prince George's County Public Schools.

The school's athletic teams are known as the Lions. the school has seen three principals in the last 2 years with Richmond Myrick leaving at the end of the 2005-206 school year and James Wheeler stepping down after a series of school riots in early February. As of late February 2007, the acting principal is John Brooks. The school serves more than 1,800 students in grades 9 through 12. Recently,after being moved down from the 4A division the Lady Lions Basketball team captured the 3A State Championship. In addition, the school made history by being the first team in PG County history to win both boys' and girls' county championships in the same season.
