The Large St. Helena Petrel (Pterodroma rupinarum) is an African bird that is now extinct. The Pterodroma rupinarum is an animal that resides in the Procellariidae family. It most likely became extinct after overpredation by people. Pterodroma rupinarum was listed on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species in 1988 and was assessed to be extinct in 2004.
