Laragh, County Cavan is a parish in the Diocese of Kilmore.

The principal village in the parish is Stradone which is located 1km from the N3. There are 3 churches in the parish namely in Larah, Clifferna and Carrickallen. There are two national schools, at Larah and Clifferna, respectively.

The local GAA team Laragh United were established in the 1970s and had considerable success at that time winning 4 senior championships in 1979 and a famous 3-in-a-row from 1982 to the centenary year in 1984. The grounds are located in Stradone and are named after the All-Ireland winning local man, P.J. Duke.

Its most famous son is the Rev. Dr. Seán Brady, a native of Drumcalpin, the current Cardinal Archbishop of Armagh.
