The Lapu Lapu shrine is a 20 metre bronze memorial statue erected on Mactan Island in the place of Punta EngaƱo, Cebu, Philippines, in honour of Datu, Lapu-Lapu who defeated the Spaniards and killed Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan in 1521.
