Anybody know the coordinates of Landsat Island? I can't find them anywhere. Wikilackey 17:37, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

The article referenced states m (meters) not miles. Although it doesn't state outright, the total area for Canada had increased by 68 sq. km. because the location of the island would have bumped out the 200 mile zone by that amount. An area 25 miles x 45 miles is 2,913.74 sq km.

I think the story mentioned in the article is false and fantasious. An island of 1125 square meters with a polar bear in it? There should be at least 4-5 of them (one adult male, one adult female and their sons), living in a such little place for many generations should be a very interesting biological fact. Moreover, it is impossible not to see (from an helicopter's point of view) a polar bear in a such little desert territory. Sorry for bad english!
