I think it should be mentioned that the crystals in the 9x9 matrix are one of 4 colors but can also be in the OFF or UNilluminated position, and a possibility that WHITE may also be an option (though I have not seen white in a Pylon Matrix Control Panel) so the possibility of 4^81 (5.8460065493236116728147393308651e+48) might actually be a more staggering number of (1.0721394614761023271885948637366e+63) possible combinations.

I would also like to suggest that the Pylons have a coefficient of friction of ZERO or near-zero based on Will's findings.
