In the same vein, care to cite an issue (month/year) of the Nat'l Lampoon that credits you as a Contributing Editor? No source that was not self-generated contains this information.

You called attention to yourself by attempting the ludicrous edit: "Writers such as Dick DeBartolo, Stan Hart, Frank Jacobs, Lance Norris, Tom Koch, and Arnie Kogen appeared regularly in the magazine's pages." Now it's footnote time.

Sept-Oct 1994 issue of Nat Lamp lists Lance Norris as Contributing Editor and contains a piece by Norris on OJ Simpson.

According to MAD editor Joe Rayola, Norris is one of the few writer that was ever paid a kill fee by MAD for a piece they bought and then 'killed' fearing it might insult Wal-Mart.

Mr. Norris has never been an editor for the National Lampoon. He has never written for Mad Magazine. This page's history shows that the false information has been repeatedly inserted onto this page, in addition to an attempt to include it on the Wikipedia page for Mad.

Even if these knowingly false edits cease, a collection of college experiences, self-published plays, work as a film extra, and local radio is a pretty slender reed on which to hang an article.

Norris was, in fact, a contributing editor for National Lampoon in the Fall of 1994 and MAD Magazine bought parody from him that same year. According to MAD editor Joe Rayola it was one of the few times MAD had ever paid a kill fee.

Boston, until this year, was a top ten radio market; and doing a morning radio show in that market for almost 20 years could hardly be called a 'slender reed'.

24.215.152.197 15:35, 30 August 2006 (UTC)The name of any Lampoon Contributing Editor, no matter how uncelebrated, calls up online confirmation of their Lampoon connection NOT generated by that same person. Those same web searches are not as kind to Mr. Norris.

Mr. Norris also misspells the name of his supposed almost-editor at MAD. And while that in itself isn't "case closed," touting an alleged kill fee as the equivalent to being a writer for the magazine is self-puffery in the extreme. (He similarly exaggerates his role on "Politically Incorrect.")

Mr. Norris went so far as to edit the MAD article on Wikipedia to include himself as one of the writers who "appeared regularly in the magazine's pages." Mr. Norris has never appeared on one page of MAD.

Mr. Norris' knowledge of MAD's kill fee policy is similarly uninformed.
