Lansing High School is the only public high school in Lansing, Kansas.

It has a population of (very) roughly 500 students. Most of the students have known each other since elementary school, due to the limited number of schools in the area.

LHS's colors are red, black and white. Its mascot is the lion. Paw-prints in white paint lead drivers from the main thouroughfare in town to the front of the school.
