Lansdowne Road railway station serves Lansdowne Road in Dublin, Ireland. There is a level crossing due to the fact that the railway line is almost level with the surrounding land. The station serves the 'white collar' businesses of the Ballsbridge and Baggot St. areas of Dublin 4. The adjacent IRFU Rugby Football stadium necessitates special arrangements due to the large crowds on match and event days.
