Langstrand (German for "Long Beach", among tourists the English name is occasionally used, too) is a small beach resort on the Atlantic coast in western Namibia. Langstrand lies between Walvis Bay and Swakopmund. It is, for the most part, an upscale beach resort where many have beach homes to escape the interior heat in Namibia. The area came into recent fame because the Burning Bush resort, where Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt stayed during the end of her pregnancy with Shiloh, is located in Langstrand.
