Lango sub-region

Lango sub-region is a region in Uganda that consists of Amolatar District, Apac District, Dokolo District, Lira District and Oyam District.
Lango sub-region covers the area previously known as Lango District. In 1974 Lango District was split into the districts of Apac and Lira, and subsequently into several other districts. The sub-region is home mainly to the Lango ethnic group.
