Langkawi International Airport (IATA: LGK, ICAO: WMKL), is an airport situated in the island of Langkawi in Kedah, Malaysia. The airport is located at Padang Matsirat.
This airport is a tourist attraction because it serves as a venue for Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition which is an international aerospace event for aviation industry and public performances.
In 2005, the airport handled 830,334 passengers and 8,021 aircraft movements.[1]
