Langenthal is a municipality in the district of Aarwangen in the canton of Bern in Switzerland.
The city has 14,231 inhabitants as of 31 October 2004. Noted industries in Langenthal include the construction of vehicles and machine as well as porcelain and textile manufacturing. Langenthal is an educational, cultural, and economical center for the region of Oberaargau.
