Lance Thompson

Image:LanceThompson.jpgLance Thompson (born February 16, 1978 in Sydney, New South Wales) is an Australian rugby league player for the Cronulla Sharks in the National Rugby League competition. He attended Kingsgrove High School, which has one of the most successful rugby league programs in the area. He previously played for the St George Illawarra Dragons until a much-publicised falling out with the club occurred in late 2005 and he signed with the Sharks, the Dragons' long-time archrivals. His position of choice is in the second row, though he can also play prop forward.
When allowed the time off from his club duties Lance Thomspon is a Heavyweight boxer in the NSW boxing scene. His career record to date is 3 matches, 1 win, 1 loss and 1 win by TKO.
