Lancaster University Students' Union

Lancaster University Students' Union (LUSU) is the Students' Union for Lancaster University. The Union is a constituent member of the NUS.
LUSU assists with the running of the Junior Common Rooms, Societies and Athletic Union Clubs of Lancaster University. It has business interests in the form of The Sugar House (the Union nightclub), the LUSU Shop and LUSU Central Stores.
LUSU is run by Union Council, which comprises six sabbatical officers, non-sabbatical officers, and the Presidents of its standing committees. The six sabbatical officers are supported by permanent staff, who are led by Peter R Elliott, the Union General Manager. The administrative centre for the Union is in Slaidburn House on the University campus.
