Lancaster Elsie Robertson Middle School (Lancaster, Texas)

Lancaster Elsie Robertson Middle School is a public school in Lancaster, Texas (USA). It is part of the Lancaster Independent School District.
Located at 822 West Pleasant Run Road, the school serves students in grades six through eight.
Prior to the 2006-2007 school year, the campus served as the district's high school.

As the 2004-2005 school year, Lancaster Junior High (currently Lancaster Elementary), which was located at 1109 West Main Street and served seventh and eighth graders, had a total of 856 students (79.8% African American, 14.0% Hispanic, 5.6% White, 0.2% Asian, and 0.4% Native American).
[edit] 2005-06 Accountability rating
Based on the accountability ratings released by the Texas Education Agency on August 1, 2006, Lancaster Junior High received a rating of "Academically Unacceptable". This is due to lower than acceptable passing rates on the TAKS test in Reading ("All Students" category and 2 of 3 analyzed subgroups), Social Studies ("All Students" category and all 3 analyzed subgroups), and Mathematics (3 analyzed subgroups).

All Lancaster ISD students are required to wear school uniforms [1].
Middle schoolers may wear:
- Gray, White, and Yellow solid polo shirts and turtlenecks, vests, and sweatshirts
- Solid color jackets and windbreakers
- White Oxford shirts
- Khaki, Black, and Navy blue bottoms (Skorts and Capris are not allowed)
