Lancashire Wolverine colts

The Lancashire Wolverine Colts are a British youth kitted American Football team based in Blackburn. They are one of the most successful youth gridiron teams in the country, the recent success coming in Dewsbury when they won the 2004 Plate Final.
The team was formed in 1995 as part of the Lancashire Academy Of American Football. Along with their sister team, the Lancashire Wolverines, they had success but since the 2004 season they have not entered the league. In 2007, they are in the league raring to go all the way to Don Valley Stadium for the Youth Bowl.
The Colts current head coach is Ian Kay, a former player for the Wolverines who is taking time out from his playing career, who took over from Geoff Leigh who decided to concentrate on his playing career. Their Team Manager is Emma Chatwood and the chairman is Steve Norris.
