From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Mt Kosciuszko is incorrectly indicated on this image. The peak labelled Mt Kosciuszko is actually Rams Head. Mt Kosciuszko is a few degrees to the east of directly north of Rams Head, and directly west of the word "Snowy" in "Snowy River".

The small black area on the top edge of the image, just right of centre, is Lake Albina. The small black area 5 eights of the way between Albina and Rams Head is Lake Cootapatamba. Mt Kosciuszko is a very few degrees to the west of directly north of Cootapatamba.

Compare with the maps at http://www.auinfo.com/Thredbo_map.html and http://www.nationalparks.nsw.gov.au/PDFs/kosciuszko_maps_thredbo_guthega_walks.pdf

The "Thredbo Village" arrow is not so bad but it points to the Woodridge part of Thredbo. The centre of the village is actually the purple area a little to the southwest. Nurg 00:01, 5 March 2006 (UTC)
