It's interesting that you say the Yup'ik don't like the name Eskimo, especially when it's written on their tribal council ID cards and they say they are technically Yup'ik Eskimo. Knowmoore 09:36, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
And have you checked with the Inuit? Likely what they mean by "they say they are technically Yup'ik Eskimo" is simply breaking the term Eskimo down into the two groups it is used to represent.
