Lamont is a town in Whitman County, Washington, United States. The population was 106 at the 2000 census.

Lamont is located at 47°12′2″N, 117°54′16″W (47.200456, -117.904513)^GR1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.8 km² (0.3 mi²), all land.

As of the census^GR2 of 2000, there were 106 people, 35 households, and 26 families residing in the town. The population density was 141.1/km² (369.0/mi²). There were 38 housing units at an average density of 50.6/km² (132.3/mi²). The racial makeup of the town was 94.34% White, 4.72% Native American, and 0.94% from two or more races.

There were 35 households out of which 51.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 51.4% were married couples living together, 11.4% had a female householder with no husband present, and 25.7% were non-families. 20.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 8.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 3.03 and the average family size was 3.54.

In the town the population was spread out with 37.7% under the age of 18, 6.6% from 18 to 24, 31.1% from 25 to 44, 13.2% from 45 to 64, and 11.3% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 30 years. For every 100 females there were 100.0 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 94.1 males.

The median income for a household in the town was $32,778, and the median income for a family was $32,750. Males had a median income of $31,250 versus $16,250 for females. The per capita income for the town was $10,026. There were 13.0% of families and 15.4% of the population living below the poverty line, including 5.7% of under eighteens and 33.3% of those over 64.
