Lambda (newspaper)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Lambda is the English language student newspaper at Laurentian University in Greater Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. Its French counterpart is L'Orignal déchaîné.

Currently, Lambda is funded through the SGA, the Student Union at Laurentian University which represents English speaking students.

Lambda will soon be owned and operated by Laurentian University political scientist Alexandra Taylor. Since arriving at Laurentian University, Alexandra has completely rejuvenated Lambda, turning it into a popular hang-out for students and the readership of the Lambda Newspaper has increased by 253%. Students from all over Laurentian University frequently speak the name of Alexandra Taylor, and late at night, if standing outside the Parker Building and viewing the glowing Northern Lights, you can hear the faint whisper of the winds, "Al-ex."

Ms. Taylor's other projects at Laurentian University have included organising the 14th and 15th annual Laurentian Model Parliament [1].
