[edit] Removal of skating section

The section as it exists right now is nothing more than a sports result that is more appropriate for WikiNews. The result (14th out of 23 in a region with a small population) doesn't indicate that the school is particularly noted for this program. Further, many schools have skating programs, so simply having such a program doesn't distinguish the school in any way. I don't object to mentioning the sports and academic programs offered by the school, but the info I removed is not encyclopedic in my opinion. Mindmatrix 15:06, 9 April 2006 (UTC)

Thank you for your explanation. Perhaps then it would be sufficient then simply add a section that indicates something like. Other Sports : Lakeshore also has other sports... and if we have the time we could then mark the all the groups? Just the names... skating, blah balh blah... music... Or maybe not? When I have time I'll think about it, in the mean time thank you for your comment. --CyclePat 22:21, 12 April 2006 (UTC)
No problem. You may want to peruse articles about high schools in Ontario to see what other users have written about other schools. Some of those articles are just starting out (stubs), whereas some are quite decent already. I'm sure it'll give you an idea or two for expanding this article. Mindmatrix 16:31, 13 April 2006 (UTC)
