The three large lakes, Maurepas, Pontchartrain, and Borgne (truthfully a lagoon) cover 55 % of the basin. Which basin? --Rafeco 15:01, 31 August 2005 (UTC)

The Lake Pontchartrain Basin. The opening sentence of the source cited in the article sort of says that, but doesn't, so it's not very clear, but that's what they mean. -- Muffuletta 20:40, 7 May 2006 (UTC)
