Lakeland Duramed FUTURES Classic

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Lakeland Duramed FUTURES Classic is an annual golf tournament for professional women golfers on the FUTURES Tour, the LPGA's developmental tour. The event has been a part of the FUTURES Tour's schedule since 1998. From 1998 through 2003 it was played at The Club at Eaglebrooke. Since 2004 it has been played at Cleveland Heights Golf Course. Both courses are located in Lakeland, Florida.

The Tournament is a 54-hole event, as are most FUTURES Tour tournaments, and includes pre-tournament pro-am opportunities, in which local amateur golfers can play with the professional golfers from the Tour as a benefit for local charities. Benefitting charities from the Lakeland Duramed FUTURES Classic include the The First Tee of Lakeland.

The 2007 tournament was held from March 9 through March 11.
