Lake Margaret (Tasmania)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Lake Margaret ( 42°00′S, 145°32′E) is the name of a lake high up on Mount Sedgwick, West Coast of Tasmania in Australia. A dam was built in 1912 to raise its water level by six metres, for the hydroelectric Lake Margaret Power Station and a townsite with the same name was constructed at that time.
