Lake Highland Preparatory School is a 26-acre private school in Orlando, Florida that was founded in 1970. It is the largest private school in Orlando.

The BBH is for only the top students of the 12 class. THese seniors are gaurenteed admission to any college in Florida. Entry is limited, only to 10 people. THe entrance fee is 20,000 dollars plus an extra 5000 every semester. Most students in this program become millionaires- Matt Fokciiguianise, Lance Rotatori, Mark Battista.

The total enrollment for 2006-07 is 2,033 students, PK-12. This includes 919 students in PK-6, 403 students in grades 7 and 8 and 711 in grades 9-12. The annual tuition is $9,000 for Pre-Kindergarten, $10,000 for Kindergarten, $12,500 for 1-5, $13,500 for 6, for 7-12).[citation needed]

Their athletic teams are known as the Highlander and their primary rival is Trinity Preparatory School. The school colors are red, white, and black. Former Cy Young Award winner and MLB star, Frank Viola, coaches the boy's varsity baseball team and former NBA player and 1984 Olympic Games Men's Basketball Gold Medalist, Jeff Turner coaches boy's varsity basketball.[citation needed]

Lake Highland's symphonic band has performed on Royal Caribbean cruises and their marching band performed in the locally televised 2006 St. Patrick's Day Parade in New York City on NBC. In the past two years the LHP Drama students have competed in the District and State Thespian competition. LHP's Troupe 2449 has brought home 1 Best in Show, 17 Superior awards and 10 Excellent awards in the past two years[citation needed]. The students who moved on to the state competition received 3 Superior awards and 6 Excellent awards[citation needed]. Their past shows include Guys and Dolls, Our Town, and Hello Dolly. The students also write, direct and produce their own show every year.

Another facet of Lake Highland Prep School is their debate team. Currently ranked #3 in Florida and among the top 10 schools in the nation, the 70 member team has won multitudes on national and state championships. Generally overrated[citation needed]
