Lajon Witherspoon was born October 3, 1972 in Nashville, Tennessee. He is the vocalist for the Atlanta-based Metal band Sevendust. He is known for being one of few African-American singers in modern rock music, and also for his dreadlocks. Members from such bands as Staind, Seether and Diecast have listed Lajon and Sevendust as musical influences.
