Laishevo

Laishevo (Russian: Лаишево; Tatar: Layış) is a town in the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia, located on the shore of Kuybyshev Reservoir, southeast of Kazan. Population: 7,730 (2002 Census); 7,067 (1989 Census).
Laishevo was granted town status in 2004.
