Laira railway station

Laira railway station was the temporary terminus of the South Devon Railway from Exeter. It was situated at Laira on the outskirts of Plymouth, opening on 5 May 1848 and closing on 3 April 1849 after which trains continued the short distance to the more conveniently situated Plymouth station.
