[edit] Interests and Expertises

As I hope is obvious from my user name, I am a scientist, or at least a scientist in training. I currently hail from the University of California, Berkeley where I study Engineering Physics. I am interested in Biophysics, especially in the realm of Neuroscience and Non-Linear processing, though I am only beginning to understand these fields. My expertise is in the realm of Particle Physics, where I study and prepare experiments to test new physical theories using the BaBar detector at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center, especially in regards to gravitational paradoxes (e.g. Gravitons and Dark matter). I also greatly enjoy computational theory, including neural modeling, though my expertise in this field is amateur at best.

I speak French relatively well, and greatly enjoy French philosophy. While I am no where near an expert in philosophy, I greatly enjoy existentialist writings, especially in the realm of Absurdism.

As a new user to the Wikipedia editing 'staff', I have yet to make significant contributions. But I hope as time progresses that I can expand the knowledge base of the most accessible encyclopedia in America.

[edit] What's Your Name Mean?

My user name is a reference to an extremely powerful mathematical physics tool called the Lagrangian. It has applications in almost all realms of physics and is one of the most fundamental aspects of quantum field theories. If you are interested, please see the article linked above.
