Isn't this in Book 10?

[edit] Laestrygones in Mythology
I agree. In mythology, Laestrygones were giants not Cyclopes.
Laestrygones lived in Telepylos (now, the most searchers believe that it is Sardenia of Italy).
Cyclopes, instead, lived in Sicily (of Italy) and in Cyclades (of Greece).

A question.
Is possible that Telepylos, capital of Laestrygones may be Pre-Phoenician Carthage?
