Several days ago, I posted questions on 2 Talk pages, In Justice and Jason O'Mara. Since there's been no response as yet, I'm wondering what to do next.Ladyhormel 22:25, 17 February 2006 (UTC)

Renewing my request for assistance. I have now also written to Phf3947's talk page, the user about whose edits I am inquiring.

Pardon my being a newbie and unsure of procedure. Please advise on questions asked February 12, 2006. Perhaps I didn't understand procedure as I have not received any kind of response.

1. Question asked on Talk page of In Justice: Is there a reason the external link to In Justice Online has been removed from the In Justice page? It is a comprehensive, NPOV source of information for the show In Justice. It resides within a website for cast member Jason O'Mara.

and

2. Questions asked on Talk page of Jason O'Mara: Regarding the external link Jason O'Mara Fan Site which keeps moving about and has had several name changes

When adding an external link that is similar to others in purpose and official status:

a. Is there a priority process in listing them? Or, as all page histories can document, do we use first come-first served web etiquette.

b. Should the text of the link match the name of the actual target (adding, of course, any text needed to differentiate it from other links) or can the name be changed to suit any editor who walks in?

Thanks! Ladyhormel 23:37, 6 April 2006 (UTC)

Regarding Talk:In Justice, if you left a note on the talk page looking for someone to justify the removal of a link that you feel is NPOV and should remain on the page; seeing how it's been over 6 weeks now, you should feel free to re-add it. Since no one has responded to your query, you could first look at the edit summaries to see if the person who removed it justified it in any way. If they didn't, go ahead and re-add it. If someone removes it again, you should send a message to their talk page asking them to justify the reason they removed it.
Regarding Talk:Jason O'Mara, there is no priority process or a first come first serve. Consensus should form amongst the editors of the article which links should be first and which ones should not be. Many times a website lists the official site, if applicable, first. Also, the naming of the link should reflect what the link is about. So if multiple links all have the same description, it would be best to change the wording to distinguish them. Hope this helps and sorry about the delay in responding. Pepsidrinka 02:34, 7 April 2006 (UTC)
