Er... bumped 3 times by Jesus? Was Graham Poll umpiring? Blunder Maggie!!!!

If you're talking about the table for the Men's Lents 2006. I suggest you look a bit closer. Bumped by Jesus on the 1st day, bumped Jesus back on the 3rd, and bumped by Jesus again on the last day. Richard B 21:37, 4 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Name of boat club

There seems to be no mention in the history of why the boat club is called "Lady Margaret" rather than "St. John's College Boat Club" like the other colleges. Is the rumour true that John's were banned from having a boat club due to killing a cox with a spear on the bow of their boat during a bumps race? The rumour goes that John's got around the ban by creating a boat club called "Lady Margaret Boat Club". Adw2000 14:17, 29 December 2006 (UTC)

It seems that the Bumps race article states: "One tradition has it that St. John's Boat Club changed its name to Lady Margaret Boat Club after a cox was killed in a bump. This is not true..." Even still it would probably be good to say that this rumour is not true on the LMBC page, and also to explain why it is called Lady Margaret. Adw2000 14:51, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
