"Lady Lynda" is a song written by Alan Jardine and Ron Altbach for the American pop band The Beach Boys. It was released on their 1979 album L.A. (Light Album).

The music is derived from Johann Sebastian Bach's Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring. [1] The song hit #7 in the UK charts, although it was bereft of the harpsichord introduction that graced the album version.
