Laconi is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Oristano in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 70 km north of Cagliari and about 40 km east of Oristano. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,221 and an area of 125.1 km².^[1]

The municipality of Laconi contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) S.Sofia, Crastu, and Su Lau.

Laconi borders the following municipalities: Aritzo, Asuni, Gadoni, Genoni, Isili, Meana Sardo, Nuragus, Nurallao, Nureci, Samugheo, Senis, Villanova Tulo.
